We pride ourselves on the fact that this organization isn’t just about the undergraduate experience, but sets the foundation for a lifetime of sisterhood.
With that in mind, our 2016-2017 regional board organized an alumnae brunch at Calle Ocho, an upper west side Nuevo Latino restaurant located in the Excelsior Hotel. In attendance were some of our founding members, regional board directors, recently graduated sisters, and sisters of all ages who have laid the groundwork for years of fellowship within this sorority.
Sisters in Theta Phi Gamma are bonded by the knowledge that wherever post-collegiate life takes us, our true home remains with each other. Over plates of latin benedict and pollo ranchero, we returned there. For dessert, sisters were spoiled with an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cupcakes from Pinup Cakes, provided by the head baker herself (and fellow sister) Christina “Chilly Willy” Juarbe. If mojito and margarita cupcakes aren’t already your thing, allow hers to turn you into a fan!
Enjoy highlights from our alumni brunch below! We already can’t wait for the next one.
